This documentary was phenomenal.
And there was an interview with the director, Marie Losier, afterwards. It was an absolutely beautiful love story.

From “A Series of Questions”, a project where the viewer is confronted with the inappropriate questions often asked of trans people. These new images —plus the ones which were already viewable online— are up at Weingarten’s site.

This series just keeps getting better.

Glad to see this going around again! It’s a great project. TW for anti-trans (or trans-ignorant) questions.

Every time I get paid, I make a donation to a cause I love.  AND THIS WILL BE MY NEXT ONE! ^_^
This usually includes Kiva (pretty much my favorite, especially since they are technically micro-loans so when money is tight, I can re-loan using money that has been paid back), HRC, the Trevor Project, Planned Parenthood of Ohio, Emily’s List, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, or whoever else seems to be most in need. Lately, this has been organizations which support women’s reproductive rights and a friend of mine doing work in Ghana this summer. But Kiva is really my “usual”.
*If you’re interested in joining Kiva, submit your email to me as a question, and I’ll send you an invite. I don’t get anything for it, but it’s the easiest way for you to join, and I want everybody to do it!
